Where did you grow up and what made you become a writer?
Born and raised in Chicago, South/Southwest side. Becoming a writer...I knew it would be that or acting. And when I didn't get into Juilliard --
Did you study? Who are/were your inspirations or role models?
Got my BA in writing, yep. My biggest inspirations growing up were Mary Higgins Clark, Jackie Collins, Ray Bradbury. Then I began to study the world of cinema, and so many wonderful storytellers in that medium inspired me. I should also mention Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Writing fan fic for those shows, playing in someone else's sandbox and being true to those characters, made me a better writer.
What are the projects you are currently working on?
Currently a thriller feature whole pitching my crime drama.
